Mid-Century House

Modern home exterior showing the combination of black and wood finishes, featuring large windows and a distinct architectural design.

The exterior of the contemporary home with a striking mix of black and wood elements, and expansive windows designed to bring in natural light.

Firstly, this house is an eye-catcher at first sight. Your attention gets caught by the pure geometry elements that it showcases. Also, we made a meticulous exterior material selection and distribution to match the style and define the geometry of the different components.

In the middle of the front elevation, a black vertical element emphasizes the main entrance. That main entrance takes you to a foyer that opens up to the great room. Then, the Great Room opens up to a high ceiling and upper windows that enlight the ample space holding the dining area and a two-island kitchen.

That vast and enlighted open space showcases large accordion doors that open up to the covered patio so you can seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces. On one side of the great room with a cozy ceiling proportion, we have the Living Room, which also has a wide-open view of the outdoors. The outdoors displays pergolas, a sitting area, and an outdoor cooking area. It also includes a future pool, an office/den, and access from the guests’ room and the Master Suite.

On the left-wing of the house, we will find three bedrooms. One for guests, two for kids, and all of them feature linen closets, walk-in closets, and also full private bathrooms. As a premise, we had natural light on all of the most important wet areas.
On the right wing of the house, we have a 4 Car Garage with access to the main living area through a comfortable Mudroom that also has access to the Laundry.

Last but not least, on the main floor, we have the Master Suite, a large Bedroom with access and views to the outdoors, a massive bathroom with his and hers vanities, and an exquisite Wet Room. From the Master Bedroom, you also have access to the closet area, which features His and Hers’ separate dressing rooms. Even more, we added a comfortable and hidden Safe Room. The closet area also has access to the Laundry Room, so you can privately do your laundry and come from the garage to your private spaces.

Upper Level

You will find a majestic flying stair from the Foyer and Great Room that leads you to The Upper Level. That level is, in essence, a balcony over the great room. It enjoys views from the front of the house and also the rear outdoor space. However, the work with railing and half walls keeps that space private to work. Even more, that office features a balcony with a seating area that faces the front of the house, complementing the accent of the Main Entrance.

Finally, we designed this house to express the modern style and personality of the owners, we both agreed that we made it. So we are proud of the result.
