Golf Course Villa

Hi everyone, I’m back with my last portfolio post for 2021. It is about a beautiful Golf Course Villa located at the Tanglewood Resort and Golf Club in Pottsboro, Texas.
This excellent Modern Farmhouse-styled piece is a place for a social family that loves to entertain. They also have an in-law suite ready for mom to come to live. They have been the most organized client that I have ever had. I was amazed by the level of detail they had ready to start. Everything was placed in folders and even spreadsheets, organized by location and priority.

I had some issues initially since the shape of the lot is a triangle, narrow on the front and wide open to the rear of the house. They needed separate garages and a gorgeous entrance which demanded space that we didn’t have. We finally got that eureka moment when we came with the angled idea and the proper placement of all the elements.

As a result, I ended up with one of my favorite designs in the area.
I love this house. It showcases good square footage. However, it still feels cozy. And the gallery, oh, I love that walking gallery. It ends up in the most gorgeous Den…
