Holbein Watercolor – Tool Review

From the supplies selection I made on a previous post, I have in my hands the  set of 24 Watercolor Colors by Holbein.

The first impression is really excellent, everything packed and ordered in a very elegant way, it is a set with a good variety of colors that allows its direct use and with different mixtures to reach a wide enough range of the chromatic Circle. I know I have to acquire some additional colors independently, like magenta, for example, but I want to start using this palette intensively before adding colors. That way I can specifically determine those colors that may be necessary to complete that palette I have in mind and that I have not been able to define yet. It will also help me to recognize those colors that I use most to order in the same purchase as its replacement with higher capacity tubes.

The tests I have done so far of each one impress me by the intensity, by the intensity of their colors and even after a while have remained. This is very important for me, I am a tropical people and everything here is full of bright colors. Nature, clothes, colors of houses, everything vibrates in colors that take on more life even with the intensity of the sun that accompanies us throughout the year.

These gentlemen will often be seen in #coffeesketch posts and any final watercolor images that I share with you from now on will be colored with them, so i hope all those inked sketches still pale shown on my #inktober2018 posts will come soon to life.

De la selección de materiales que hice en un post anterior, tengo en mis manos el nuevo set de 24 Colores Acuarela de Holbein. La primera impresión es realmente excelente, todo empacado y ordenado de una manera muy elegante, es un set con una buena variedad de colores que permite con su uso directo y con distintas mezclas alcanzar un rango suficientemente amplio del Círculo Cromático. Se que debo adquirir algunos colores extras de manera independiente, como el magenta por ejemplo, pero quiero empezar a usar esta paleta intensamente antes de agregar colores, de esa manera puedo determinar específicamente los colores que pueden estar haciendo falta ara completar esa gama que tengo en mi mente y que no he podido definir, además me va a servir para reconocer aquellos colores que más uso para ordenar en la misma compra su remplazo con tubos de más capacidad.

Las pruebas que hice hasta ahora de cada uno me impresionan por la intensidad, por lo vivos de sus colores y aun pasado algún tiempo se han mantenido. Esto es importantísimo para mi, soy una gente del trópico y todo acá está lleno de colores vivos, la naturaleza, la vestimenta, los colores de las casas, todo vibra en colores que cobran más vida aún con la intensidad del sol que nos acompaña durante todo el año.

A estos señores los verán a menudo en los posts de #coffeesketch y cualquier imagen final en acuarela que les comparta de ahora en adelante estará coloreada con ellos, así que espero que todos esos sketches pálidos de mis publicaciones de #inktober2018 cobren vida pronto.
