This modern yet practical lake house was designed for a small family seeking a functional and inviting vacation retreat. The layout balances comfort, efficiency, and a seamless connection to nature, making it an ideal getaway.

At the entrance, twin gables establish a welcoming presence, framing the main entryway. A set of French doors with sidelights and transoms enhances natural light, while a hanging pergola over the front porch adds definition and a refined modern touch.

The Great Room extends effortlessly to the Covered Patio through expansive French doors, fostering a harmonious indoor-outdoor experience. This generous outdoor space accommodates multiple seating arrangements and features a bar area with a pass-through window to the kitchen.

For the exterior, we selected black-painted board and batten siding, paired with black-framed windows and doors. A black metal roof completes the contemporary farmhouse aesthetic, reinforcing the home’s bold architectural character while ensuring durability and timeless appeal.
