This Black House at the Golf Course sits on Tanglewood’s Golf Course at Pottsboro, Texas. It features a monochromatic design with different textures such as Brick, Stones, and Board & Batten. The Main Entrance is emphasized with tan Stucco Walls crowned with a gable showcasing stained wood beams.
In the H shape of the floor plan, the left-wing is reserved for two Secondary Bedrooms sharing a Jack & Jill Bathroom and a guest Bedroom. The right-wing holds the Master Suite. Also, we find the utility spaces such as Walk-in Pantry, Laundry, Powder Room, and Mud Room. The Garage has extra space for a Boat, a Workshop, and Golf Carts which even have a dedicated door. Also, it features a closed area thought as a Gym.
The heart of this house is The Great Room, where we displayed the Kitchen, Dining Area, and Living Room in a grandiose gathering open space. Also, a comfortable Game Room is connected to the Great Room facing front, while the rear is reserved for a generous Covered Patio with Outdoor Cooking features. That is to be said that the rear of this house faces the golf course, so we considered it as another front and gave it that relevance in constructive details.
The multi-awarded builder, Ceci Bates Custom Homes, will build this Black House at the Golf Course in Tanglewood, Pottsboro.
We extracted a couple of illustrations from the design process of this house. Take a look at the sketches that gave birth to this singular piece.
