Firstly, this amazing house is an eye-catcher at first sight. Your attention gets caught by the pure geometry elements that it showcases. Also, we went with a black metal exterior cladding that outstands from all the buildings in the area. The house will be located on a narrow lot that has direct access to the lake. So we decided to place the garage as the front elevation to the road, leaving the whole width on the rear for the relevant rooms of the house. Then we have a side entrance with a Covered Porch facing the road and leading people to the Main Entrance Door.
That main entrance takes you to a foyer that works as a Mud Room. Coming from the garage, there is another Foyer/Mud Room with access to an apartment on the upper level and the Main Entrance. The Main Entrance Mudroom has access to the Laundry Room and the Great Room. The Great Room shows an open space layout holding the Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, and a Coffee/Te Spot. Furthermore, all those spaces held in the Great Room are opened to the fantastic Lake view through a set of floor-to-ceiling windows.
We have access to the Master Suite, a Powder Room, and Stairs going up to the Upper Level from the Living Room. The Master Suite holds the Bedroom, a comfortable Walk-in Closet, and also the Master Bathroom. From the Master Bathroom, you can access the Laundry going through a Workout Room which also has a door to the outside of the house.
Upper Level
Coming up from the Main Level, you get a hallway that takes you to the Family Room. Once there, you have access to a Bathroom, Guest Bedroom, Bedroom, Craft Room, and Terrace. The Bedroom, Family Room, and Craft Room also enjoy a magnificent view of the lake. That Terrace displays a Pergola and serves as a gathering space when the cold winds come from the lake. Finally, that Gathering space also has access to the future In-Law Apartment that is over the Garage.
