#Travel #NewOrleans #Viajes #GardenDistrict #NOLA Visiting Garden District | New Orleans
This is actually what we should be calling our first day as tourists in the city, so we started Visiting Garden District in New Orleans.
Just steps away from our home in New Orleans there is Magazine Street. That is one of the main streets of the Garden District, full of restaurants and shops. The Garden District is a quiet, pacific and historic area in the city. walking around here is like walking into a movie. Everything is so traditional around here that you can get amazed at every step you take.
There are lots of houses honored by the city for being there for the last 200, 300 and even 400 years! Not only because of their age, but it is also about the state of preservation they are, amazing. That is to be said that I come from a country where antique things are undervalued and where the maintenance culture is almost none. All this is more than impressive to us.

I could say this is actually a green area. There are trees everywhere, huge and ancient trees. They are so many and so big that is hard to see a whole house from across the street. All the houses are covered in branches and leaves. Interesting but hard to handle when it comes to drawing it.
So, we started our travel in a gorgeous and pacific way. Our plan is to keep increasing the intensity until we get to its peak in the French Quarter.

Visitando Garden District en New Orleans
