Modern Mountain Lakehouse

Unique and Modern Lakehouse

That is to be said that this Modern Mountain Style Lakehouse Plan is a design made for a social family, constantly gathering and welcoming guests. We placed all the main spaces along with a stunning view that everyone wants to enjoy. We also designed it to be seen since it shows astonishing elevations on the front and the house’s rear.

Firstly, the aesthetical concept for this house is based on a blend of Mountain and Modern styles. We are combining tan stucco, stone, and reclaimed stained wood as accents. Also, we added dark metal roofs as a crown to the whole design. Stained wood shiplap is also showcased on every gable we created around the house.

The grandiose entrance shows tall wood columns with stone veneers on their bases. A black and vertical set of windows surround the main door creating a magnificent focal point on the front elevation. The house sits on a hill, requiring stairs that we created using the same stone from the overall project. That gives even more appeal to the entrance.

Main Level

The Main Entrance leads you to a Foyer that opens to the Great Space. That Great Space is that contains The Kitchen, The Dining Room, And The Living Room. We opened the whole space to the rearview using accordion doors. In the middle of it all, we have a stunning Stone Fireplace that works as a subtle division for the great space. Also, the Great Space features up to 24 ft high vaulted ceilings decorated with wood beams.

Coming from the garage, we find a stair giving us access to the upper-level Storage area. Right after that, we display the mudroom, which we designed to integrate into the hallway, giving it a breezeway look from the outside. That Mudroom gives access to a comfortable Laundry Room, a huge walk-through Pantry, and the Powder Room that guests from the Great Room can also use.

The Wide Kitchen displays a prep Island integrated with a Dining table wrapped around it. As a lovely detail for the lady of the house, we incorporated a cozy coffee balcony that opens up to the front, so it gets the morning light. When the owners have a crowded house on holiday, there is still an outdoor/private space for a quiet conversation.

The right side of the house faces north, so that area is reserved for the Master Suite. There we have a large Walk-in Closet, a Master Bath displaying a comfortable Wet Room, and the Master Bedroom. That Bedroom has access to the back patio through French doors that take you to a terrace emphasized with a pergola. Also, that terrace has a wonderful spiral and floating stair that gives you access to the Upper deck above.

Upper Level

Coming up the stairs, you get to a catwalk overlooking the Great Space on the main level. That Catwalk wraps around the Great Room Below. It features the Bedrooms on one end and the Studio with the Upper Deck on the other. The Office opens to the Great Room and also to the Upper Deck. On the other end, we find the Bunk Bedroom and a Mini-Suite with a small balcony overlooking the pool area.

Finally, everything in this house is thought of with the rearview always in mind. So The rear elevation of this house is features balconies and observation spots. The great room displays a floor-to-ceiling set of windows that integrate the upper and main levels.
